Camping Near Cabrillo Beach
While there is no camping at Cabrillo Beach, a number of nearby beaches and RV parks offer a wide range of camping oppoortunities. Some are virtually ocean-front, while others are inland.
Bolsa Chica State Beach Campground
Bolsa Chica State Beach is located in Huntington Beach and extends 3 miles between Sunset Beach and Seapoint Avenue. The campground is for self-contained RVs or trailers only. There is no tent camping. Nor may you camp in your car. Sites are limited to 8 people. Sanitation stations are available, as well as restrooms and outdoor showers.
Campground Information
- 55 campsites for RVs or trailers, electrical and water hookups only.
- Camping fees cover one recreational vehicle or trailer.
- Up to 2 extra vehicles are allowed if they will fit within the boundaries of the campsite.
- Back into all sites.
- Maximum size is 40'. See map below for the sites which will accommodate 40'
- All other sites will accommodate RVs or trailers up to 30'.
- Dogs on leash and supervised at all times. No dogs on beach.
- Alcohol is allowed within a registered campsite. No glass containers.
- Fire rings on the sand are first-come, first served. A ring is not guaranteed with your campsite.
