New Brighton State Beach Camping
New Brighton camping is on the wooded bluff overlooking the beach. Trails connect the campground to the beach. Campsites vary in the amount of space and privacy they offer. Most visitors conclude that the premium sites along the edge of the bluff are worth the extra price.
New Brighton Beach campground contains 109 family campsites. Of those, 9 are premium sites, 11 have RV hook-ups, and one bike-in site. No hike-in campsites are available. Also in the campground are 3 group sites. Wheelchair accessible sites are available. Each of the family sites can accommodate up to 8 people.
Reservations
Spaces at New Brighton fill up quickly as soon as each month's reservations become available 6 months in advance. New reservations become available every day for an arrival date 6 months in advance of the current date. Group sites are only available for use between March 1 and November 30.
