The Mendocino Headlands are at the town of Mendocino, off Highway 1, south of Fort Bragg and north of Jenner.

For those coming from points east of Mendocino. take Highway 20 from Interstate 5 and from Highway 101 at Willits. Once on the coast, go south of Highway 1.
